If you missed your regional Q3 Huddle, I encourage you to watch the replay and review the presentation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Americas\/EMEA <a href=\"http:\/\/players.brightcove.net\/1050259881001\/default_default\/index.html?videoId=5362168632001\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener\" >replay<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/content\/dam\/pan\/en_US\/partners\/nextwave\/82798\/q3-fy17-ams-emea-huddle.pdf\">presentation<\/a><\/li>\n<li>APAC\/Japan<a href=\"http:\/\/players.brightcove.net\/1050259881001\/default_default\/index.html?videoId=5363501690001\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener\" > replay<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/content\/dam\/pan\/en_US\/partners\/nextwave\/82798\/q3-fy17-apac-japan-huddle-notes.pdf\"> presentation<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As I said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/blog\/2016\/12\/q2-fy17-nextwave-huddle-top-5-takeaways\/\">last quarter<\/a>, when analyzing the performance in a given quarter, I look at three indicators:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Business Momentum<\/strong>: We had a record revenue quarter growing at 26.3%, and we unveiled the largest product release in the company\u2019s history with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/partners\/nextwave-partner-portal\/help-me-sell\/new-pan-os-8\">PAN-OS 8.0<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Customer Momentum<\/strong>: We added approximately 2,000 new customers, bringing the total to 37,500, including more than 875 Traps customers and more than 2,500 VM-Series customers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Channel Momentum<\/strong>: We had more than 270 partners grow more than 100% year over year; partners led more than 1,000 Security Lifecycle Reviews, and partners achieved nearly 4,000 certifications, up 15% year over year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is this positive momentum that is leading me to believe there has never been a better time to be a partner of Palo Alto Networks. With this as a backdrop, here are my three keys for Q3:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Embrace Change:<\/strong> We are changing our go-to-market playbook. Embrace this change. Be quick to adapt, and let\u2019s make sure we are building joint plans for future success.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Seek New Opportunities:<\/strong> According to our Annual Partner Satisfaction survey, many of you are taking steps to build out your public cloud practice. We saw a massive shift in the number of partners building new relationships with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. The public cloud is a huge growth opportunity, which is why I encourage you to attend our upcoming Sales Insight: Positioning the Public Cloud webinar on April 25 at <a href=\"https:\/\/paloaltonetworks.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/ac5ce30f85a10e1c8c34be5db4a05ad8\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener\" >8:00 a.m. PDT<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/paloaltonetworks.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/4b010b47e1a2d79966858a512be5123a\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener\" >6:00 p.m. PDT<\/a>.Traps is another growth opportunity. We exited Q2 with 875 Traps customers and about 100 Traps Specialized global partners. This means this product is going mainstream. As a result, we need more Traps Specialized partners to fill coverage gaps. We need to use Traps Certified Professional Service Providers (partners\/distributors) to ensure the highest customer satisfaction, and we will run our first Traps Specialization compliance check in August 2017 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/content\/dam\/pan\/en_US\/partners\/marketing\/traps\/traps-requirements-capabilities.pdf\">view requirements<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Think Beyond the Point: <\/strong>Our channel strategy in FY17 is to accelerate your journey to becoming a next-generation security innovator. To this end, we have taken three recent actions you need to be aware of:\n<ul>\n<li>We have overhauled our <a href=\"https:\/\/paloaltonetworks.csod.com\/LMS\/LoDetails\/DetailsLo.aspx?loid=34d7827a-4998-4897-abee-fbcd81f8ce01&amp;query=%3Fs%3D1%26q%3DASs%23q%3DASE%2525203.0%26s%3D1%26a%3D&amp;back=%2FGlobalSearch%2FSearch.aspx%3Fs%3D1%26q%3DASs%23q%3DASE%2525203.0%26s%3D1%26a%3D#t=1\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener\" >Accredited Sales Executive training<\/a> to be more platform-focused.<\/li>\n<li>We recently announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/partners\/nextwave-partner-portal\/help-me-learn\/cyberforce\">CYBERFORCE<\/a>, a platform-focused technical recognition program.<\/li>\n<li>We launched PAN-OS 8.0, which included more than 70 platform advancements. To help accelerate your PAN-OS 8.0 ramp to revenue, we have several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/partners\/nextwave-partner-portal\/help-me-sell\/new-pan-os-8\">Sales Insights webinars<\/a>, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/content\/dam\/pan\/en_US\/partners\/nextwave\/pan-os8\/se-summit-2017-tech-training.pdf\">SE Summit session recordings<\/a>, a marketing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/content\/dam\/pan\/en_US\/partners\/nextwave\/pan-os8\/panos8-global-marketing-how-to-guide.pdf\">\u201cHow-To Guide\u201d<\/a> and a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/content\/dam\/pan\/en_US\/partners\/nextwave\/pan-os8\/panos8-infographic.pdf\">infographic<\/a>, all on the Partner Portal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In closing, don\u2019t forget the Ignite '17 Security Conference is June 12-15 in Vancouver.
