We’re proud to have achieved the highest position for Ability to Execute and the furthest position for Completeness of Vision in the Magic Quadrant.

For more than a decade, we’ve been dedicated to helping our customers protect their enterprises and stay ahead of fast-evolving threats. From the industry’s first Next Generation Firewall in 2007 to our most recent launches enabling Network Security for the Zero Trust Enterprise, we’ve been privileged to be joined on this journey by customers who share our commitment to relentless innovation.

With expanded attack surfaces that include hybrid clouds, remote workers, IoT devices and more, today’s enterprise faces growing numbers of increasingly sophisticated attacks. Our continued innovations provide customers with critical protection from the threats of today and tomorrow, while extending security to all users and all applications throughout the enterprise.

In recent months, we’ve launched Complete Zero Trust Network Security, new PA-400 Series and PA-5450 firewalls to bring enterprise-grade security to all corners of the business, secured multi-cloud businesses with the new Cloud Identity Engine and protected organizations from the SaaS explosion with an integrated CASB. We also brought the power of inline machine learning to our Cloud-Delivered Security Services, where we pioneered market leading threat coverage in DNS Security, web protection from unknown threats in Advanced URL Filtering and real-time protection with WildFire malware analysis.

Two other third-party analyses have recently demonstrated that our ML-Powered Next Generation Firewalls provide the strongest possible protection against current and future threats in a cost-effective way. The Forrester TEI report showed that a typical enterprise using our platforms realized a 247% return on investment (ROI) with payback in six months, and with our Cloud-Delivered Security Services reduced the likelihood of a data breach by 45% after three years. And in comparative performance testing by Miercom, our PA-400 Series delivered superior performance with security services enabled, allowing customers to realize enterprise-grade protection at entry-level prices.

We feel that our tenth recognition as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Firewalls gives us an opportunity to celebrate the transformative innovations of the last ten years. We’re proud of the visionary customers and employees who inspired them and are working to invent solutions to future challenges. Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks as our corporate leaders and customers provide their perspectives on innovations we’ve delivered over the last decade, and how we plan to continue redefining what it means to be secure in the future.

Read a complimentary copy of the Garter Magic Quadrant for Network Firewalls.

Gartner and Magic Quadrant are registered trademarks of Gartner, Inc and/or its affiliates in the U.S. and internationally and is used herein with permission.
