**Q3 Company and Channels Update** -- We highlighted the company growth in Q3 and we didn't get there alone -- you, our NextWave partners, are simply invaluable. We had 372 NextWave partners double their business with us last quarter -- incredible!

**Key Messages at Ignite 2018** -- Channel partners represented 700 of the more than 4000 attendees. **Karl Soderlund** *, SVP WW Channels,* covers what attending partners and our customers learned at the event.

**Guest speakers:**

***Lang Tibbils,*** *Head of Global Partner Experience and Programs* , explained changes to the NextWave Partner Program including the new [Traps Cloud Specialization.](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/partners/nextwave-partner-portal/partner-program/traps-specialization)

***Jeremy Behrle*** *, Head of Global Partner Technology,* covered updates to the [ASE \& PSE courses and exams](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/partners/nextwave-partner-portal/help-me-learn) and stressed the importance of having a plan to make the July 31, compliance deadline.

***Sam Svitenko,*** *Senior Director, Global Partner Programs, CSS,* provided an overview on the value proposition for [Traps 5.0](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/partners/nextwave-partner-portal/help-me-sell/traps) with Logging Service as a gateway to the application framework, becoming [Traps Specialized](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/partners/nextwave-partner-portal/partner-program/traps-specialization)and leveraging the new [Traps Deal Boost promotion](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/content/dam/pan/en_US/partners/nextwave/Promotions/traps-deal-boost-guide.pdf) to accelerate sales.

***Melissa Nacerino,*** *Senior Director, WW Channels Marketing,* shared all the fun stuff, including the **Q4 need to know top four:**

1. **CYBERFORCE [CYBERChallenge](https://loop.paloaltonetworks.com/community/sales/channels/blog/2017/12/21/cyberchallenge-deux):** In February, we introduced our [CYBERFORCEChallenge](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/content/dam/pan/en_US/partners/nextwave/cyberforce-80594/cyberchallenge.pdf) for distributors to help increase CYBERFORCE participation. The top 5 individuals who recruit the most engineers into CYBERFORCE win cash prizes up to $1000. Keep recruiting!

2. **Traps Promotions** **:** [Secure Up SuperSized](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/content/dam/pan/en_US/partners/nextwave/traps/fy18-secureup-traps-promotion.pdf) rewards partner sales reps and systems engineers up to $500.
