As one of the largest and most diverse multi-purpose sporting, entertainment, conference and community precincts in Australia, Melbourne and Olympics Parks ([www.mopt.com.au](http://www.mopt.com.au)) spans five independent facilities across 40 hectares in central Melbourne.

It has to accommodate everything from Australian Open Tennis at the renowned Rod Laver Arena to rugby and soccer, concerts by the biggest names in rock, pop and beyond, and corporate meetings, including company retreats and conferences. On top of that, the Victorian government, which owns the precinct, requires Melbourne and Olympics Parks to be profitable -- meaning its network and security infrastructure, like everything else, has to be game-time ready, all the time.
